Funeral Ceremonies
Saying goodbye to someone we love is never easy. A funeral ceremony is an opportunity to come together with family and friends to remember, honour and celebrate a life.
Every life is unique and every ceremony should reflect that.
My role is to spend time getting to know you and learning about your loved one so that the ceremony truly reflects who they were and the life they lived.
The service can include readings, music, tributes from family members and moments of reflection.
It can be religious, spiritual or completely non religious depending on the wishes of the family.
Together we will create a respectful and meaningful ceremony that honours your loved one and celebrates their life.
'We cannot thank Jean enough for the service she led for our Mum and then our Dad's funeral. Jean is a very caring and empathetic person who took the time to learn about the people our parents were and what they meant to us. She listened to our stories and memories we had of them so that the service would reflect on the lives and the impact they had on all those who attended. Jean made every effort to put things together during such a difficult time so we would not have to stress. We cannot recommend her enough. Douglas Peak

Hello, I'm Jean...
Supporting families through the loss of a loved one is one of the most meaningful parts of my role as a celebrant. I take the time to listen and learn about the person you are remembering so that together we can create a respectful and personal ceremony that truly reflects their life and the memories they leave behind. My aim is that the funeral or memorial service should bring family and friends comfort on the day and also in the years ahead.
